Exciting opportunities have arisen for the right people to join the teams at two schools within our Trust:

Class Teacher – Full Time Temporary – Career Break Cover- Springwell Village Primary School
Class Teacher – Full Time Temporary – Secondment Cover- George Washington Primary School
All posts are temporary 1-year fixed contracts, MPS. ECTs are welcome to apply.

The CEO and Trust Board of Oak Learning Trust seek to recruit aspirational and effective class teachers to support the schools and contribute to wider school life. Whilst the roles are based at the specific schools, the roles will be appointed to Oak Learning Trust, and movement between Trust schools may be expected in the future.

Teaching Assistants

The CEO and Trust Board of Oak Learning Trust seek to recruit adaptable and dedicated teaching assistants. The roles will initially be based at John F Kennedy Primary School, George Washington Primary School and Monkton Academy, but these are trust roles and movement between other trust schools may be required.

The successful candidates will:

  • Be outstanding and reflective practitioners with high expectations for all children.
  • Be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level 3.
  • Be proficient and knowledgeable in supporting children with special education needs and disabilities.
  • Have an effective working knowledge of the curriculum and a good understanding or the principals of child development and learning process.

HLTA - John F. Kennedy

The CEO and Trust Board of Oak Learning Trust seek to recruit an adaptable and dedicated HLTA to cover PPA across the school. The role will initially be at John F Kennedy Primary School. However, all appointments are to Oak Learning Trust, and movement between Trust schools may be expected in the future.

 The successful candidates will:
      
• provide a welcoming environment to all those visiting or contacting our school
       • understand the need for flexibility in their role

  • be able to work calmly under pressure in a very busy school office environment
  • possess excellent communication and IT skills
  • be solution focussed and proactive in their approach
    • be confident, competent and caring in dealing with children and adults

    • be able to manage their own and the office workload ensuring a good service is provided to the school • be able to maintain confidentiality
  • be enthusiastic and supportive of the Academy ethos

The role will initially be at Columbia Grange, however all appointments are to Oak Learning Trust, and movement between Trust schools may be expected in the future.

  • Be qualified to a minimum of NVQ level
  • Be proficient and knowledgeable in supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Have an effective working knowledge of the curriculum and a good understanding of the principals of child development and learning process.
